Lowering car help please...

Ok, here is the deal I wanna lower my car; I want to do this right I might add so I believe that envolves upgrading my entire suspension which i dont mind. What do need, coil covers? Lowering Springs? Camber Kit? etc.... And what company should I go with, I was thinking about getting all Skunk2. Incase your wondering how low I wanna go - that doesnt really matter - if it helps I'm doing 17's on the car and I will have the Kaminari Lip kit that is going to be made into a full body kit (yes i'm paying out the *** but its the only nice kit and wooo no lines)

Unlocked per request.

If you are going to lower all you will need is springs & shocks (koni's are the only ones), coilover and shocks, or true coilovers. You will also need camber kits and alignment. That is it. I wouldn't go lower than 2" with 17's and a body kit and even that is pushing it. Refer to the Suspension FAQ for a list of drops.

I personally would not get sleeved coilovers like SKunk2 or GC. The run about $300 plus Konis are about $500, you might as well get Teins for $1000.

skunk2 isnt exactly the best suspension company. if you want to stick with 1 company i would recommend neuspeed. they make pretty good bars. they make good springs as well. only thing is they dont offer shocks(including any type of true coilover that is) as of yet.

but ya you want to do it the right way. start out with a true coilover... its pricey but thats the right way. you get just springs or just coilovers and your shocks are prone to blow eventually. sure you could get konis but ya as rob has mentioned its better to just get true coilovers.
