Koni Shocks or Tein Basic

Well in everybody's honest opinion which would be better. The Koni shocks are gonna be around $800 from a shop in town and the Tein Basic is $900. I've heard the Koni shocks suck and they blow out a lot. But I dont know anybody with the Basic coilover system. So opinions are welcome on which setup to go with.
