How much should I lower my car?

I'm looking for some opinions on how low i should lower my civic. I don't want my car to bottom out on speed bumps. I was kind of thinkin about a 1 to 1 1/2" drop. What do you all think?

1 1/2 in drop would be nice, just remember to get a rear camber kit so you don't wear out your tires.

I used H&R Sport springs and Koni shocks, the drop was about 1.5". It's low enough for street use for me.

666, your car looks slick! Yeah i think i'm gonna go for a 1.5 drop. Have you had any problems with it? Do you have to angle the speed bumps? The pic looks like your car has no probs going over speed bumps.

You could also go with a 1.8 drop.

I recommend Eibach sportlines, 1.8 all around. And i have the eibach camber kit. yes anything below 1.5 you will need a camber kit for sure.

i got goldlines, 1.75 drop, more like 1.5 front 1.75 in the rear, nice in the rear, wish the front was dropped more. i never scrap, still have stock struts and never bottom out, have an eibach front and rear camber kit, front isnt neccessary, in my case anyway, but the rear was.

What kinda drop do you have bro??? And what brand and how much? I was gonna go for a 2" drop all around but not to sure yet. I have some Eibach's (1.75 in front; 1/5 in back) and I'm not to sure if I wanna put that on yet. I'm like you...I like it LOW.
