17's drop Options on budget.
I will be getting some 17's in a month or so and be running 205/40/17. Of course I want to drop the car at the same time. I am looking for some opinions and experiences as to want happened to you guys. Lets say I just buy the Tein SS springs and drop it. Am I going to have to worry about blowing my shocks and struts. The roads around here arent terrible but they aint the best either. Also with the small drop from the Tein springs will I need a camber kit also. I am on a budget and want to know my options. I am trying to do this right. Cause if I need to get struts I just as well should just save up and get the Tein SS coilover system.

well if you get the Tein SS then you will have integrated shocks, so your stock ones are removed so you don't have to worry about that. If you are talking about the Tein springs, then yes you will probably blow your shocks within 6 months, espeically if you have horrible roads like here in Baltimore. i always suggest camber kits but if the drop is higher than 1.5" you don't necessarily need a camber a kit. I would save up for the coilovers or wait for good shocks (ie NOT the konis) to come out. that is just my opinion.
