Koni Schocks

I am getting ready to install Eibach Pro kit lowering springs.
Is it a good idea to also purchase/install Koni shocks with these springs.
Do these Koni shocks install within the factory housings ok and without
problems?

It's a good idea if you have the money now. Eventually you are going to need to replace the shocks because they will blow out. There is no time-line for when they will blow out but expect sooner then stock. Could be anywhere from a day to 10 years after you install the springs. The rear Koni shocks install exactly the same as the rear OEM shocks. The front Koni strut is an insert so you will need to use the factory oem strut. There are DIY's on this you just need to search for them. I good search would be accomplished by going to the suspension section of the forum & by typing in KONI.

Yes you can replace both front shocks with Koni's & leave the rear shocks as oem. It would also work the other way around. The only thing you cannot do is have one front shock being Koni and one front shock being OEM & Vice Versa.

typically they would last but the front struts on our car tend to leak
I have seen many come in the shop with struts leaking with stock springs mine are leaking after a year and a half after installing the prokit so I'm looking to get struts too
does any one know if there is any other brand of struts out yet
