chamber kit for Goldline springs
i'm going to get goldlines put on, maybe tomorrow but i dont know, it depends on the answer to this question. i guess for a 1.75" drop i am going to need a rear camber kit. if i do get them put on tomorrow with no kit, will it affect the way the car handles, or affect the car at all? and how bad would the uneven wear be? would i need the kit a.s.a.p. or could i go for a week or two without it? also what is a good camber kit and where should i buy it from? thanks.

eh its kinda debateable.. 1.3" you dont need it. 2.25" i would recommend it. i dont have one with my 1.75" drop. the camber kit alone doesnt effect the ride. how much - or + the camber effects handling around corners tho. usually - camber helps with cornering but also slows you down on the straight away since you have less contact patch. also causes your tires to wear out faster.
you dont need the kit asap but your going to get it so you might as well get it asap. riding around without for for a couple thousand miles isnt going to hurt tho.
good place to buy camber kit is www.hondawerx.com has them for $138 shipped. or try groupbuycenter.com they should have the rear for $125 shipped or so. you dont need the front, just the rear..

how long have you gone without the camber kit? also i am on factory struts so does that matter at all? some people are saying that a camber kit for a 1.75" drop is really just for show and that its really not that off and those kits are for 3-4" drops.

whether your on stock shocks or not has nothing to do with a camber kit..
its been almost a year since i had my car dropped with no camber kit. probably like 6 months with my 18s tho. so far i can't see signs of uneven tire wear but if it is i guess i'll learn the hard way...
n no camber kits aren't only for show.. thats stoopid.. you drop your car 2.25" and i bet your camber is going to be off spec. even with a 1.75" drop it might be.. in order for the alignment shop to correct it your going to need a camber kit so that the camber can be adjusted to within factory spec.
but whether you get a camber kit now or not its always recommended you get an alignment anytime you touch the suspension so when you get it, they should be able to tell you whether or not you need a camber kit
