srings installed or get a CAI?

i have a problem, after paying this months car note, insurance and other random bills i only have about $230 left to play with for my car. i was set on getting my goldline springs installed cuz they have been sitting in my closet for the longest time but now i want to get a CAI. i cant put in the springs myself cuz i dont have the know how for it. i may get them put on tomorrow afternoon but i read some people said with goldlines you may need a chamber kit and i dont have enough to get the springs installed, the chamber kit, and the chamber kit installed. does anyone with a 1.75" drop know if i will need a chamber kit? the springs will be put on stock struts. but back to my main question, should i get the springs put on or get the CAI?

You will need camber kits for the rear. Well, you don't NEED camber kits per se, but you should get them if you want an alignment w/i spec and even tire wear.

When I put springs on my accord about 10 yrs ago, I didn't have the know how either. It took me 12 hrs as a result but was a great learning experience. Do it yourself and save the money. It's not nearly as hard as you think.

Anyhow, than take the money and buy your cai.

Put the damn springs on.

A CAI will slow down your car, but you do get a fairly nice sounding engine (DX, and LX do not qualify).

Personally, I love the way the car looks from lowering it compared to the results of a CAI. (Performance mod that'll most likely eat up your low-end torque and just rev louder.)
