Yet Another RSX anti-sway bar conversion happy driver
Just finished installing the rear RSX anti-sway bar.
Cost: $50 w/ bushings (from a member of clubrsx.com)
Time: 1 hour
Definetely feel a MAJOR difference. It was nearly impossible to take out the bolts from the endlinks... i must have sprayed the entire WD40 can (lol).
Some things i just wanted to say
You don't need the RSX bushings! They are almost identical to our stock ones....soooooo my point is just get the BAR and you'll be fine!
2nd thing... Make SURE you use Jackstands. You'll be putting so much force to get the bolt from the endlinks that your car will start shaking.
eh...that's about it. Worth the money, keeps the back of the car glued to the ground. Quite amazing what a 19mm anti-sway bar can do in a civic.
Direct bolt-on for 01+ EX , 02+ LX
Others require drilling.

definitely...did mine as well. I recommend it as well. However, I would get the bushings with the bar if you can. It will fit better. I got mine for $50 from ClubRSX also, but the guy gae me the bushings with it.
I think the 19mm rsx sway bar is the best for our cars. 22mm is just too big, and you have to get a lower tie bar. I just have a bad feeling about 22mm, too big and might mess up ur rear suspension.

I have the 22mm rear progress bar and its fine, I don't know how you got a bad feeling.. anyways it comes with the rear lower tie bar and it feels great around turns.. It has a neutral feeling most of the time and a push at its limits....
Oh and I think you need new bushings no matter what size bar you change to because if the bar is different size than the bushing is going to be a different size too.... the stock bar was so small (size of a pencil) I don't see how those bushings would work with a bigger bar!

I know alot of the members of the boards say the rear sway bar is a great mod and I will most likely do it, but isn't the front sway bar usually supposed to be larger than the rear? I heard that somewhere and I wanted to see if anyone knew. The deal was if the rear is too large then it promotes over/understeer (I forget) Just wondering...
Actually I just looked up a few specs on other 2003 Hondas...
front/rear bar dia.
S2000 27.2/28.6
Accord 25.4 / 14.0 (coupe)
Civic Si 25.4 / 15.0
Pilot 23.0 / 20.0
Civic 15.9 / 12.0 (coupe)
So, every car except the S2000 has a larger front bar than rear. If I remember correctly the S2000 has a near 50/50 weight distribution, so maybe that is another factor in matching the sway bars to the car. Anyways, I was just thinking about it. Lemme know if I'm right or way off... Thanks.
Also, has anyone added a larger front sway bar as well?

so i went on a canyon run today and DAMN!!!
The back stays 100% glued! It's hard to lose control of the car. I took 20mph turns at 60mph and still stable!
