The drop on konis/18"/Ground controls

I have 18" wheels, and i'm soon to install konis, cambers, and ground controls. I want the car to look dropped, but I don't want any problems with rubbing. Plus there are a lot of torn up roads around by my house so the konis won't be able to be too stiff. I'm getting the feeling that 1.75" drop is pretty standered with springs, but it doesn't even looked dropped at all.

thank you finally, someone who agrees with me.. a 1.75" drop aint ****.. no one could tell my car is even lowered... what size tires do you have? i have 215-40-18, absolutely hate it... have 1 finger gap all around and my car still looks stock height.. i wish i would have gone with 215-35-18 with atleast neuspeed race.

I've got 18" Centerline RPM's with 215/40/18 Yokohama Parada's, Koni inserts and Ground Control springs. The ride is quite firm but I fortunately have pretty decent roads where I live. Even though some don't think that the Neuspeed Sport drop the car enough for 18's, if you put any kind of body kit on, you would have a darn near perfect set-up. Not obscenely low but by no means too high. However, yeah, without a body kit, the car does look like somewhat of a 4x4.
