Ya know that is what I was thinking happened when I first read the post but I was just giving the guy the benifit of the doubt. Its pretty hard not to notice the freakin groove on one side of the perch. But if anyone is looking for a new set of perches they can PM me and buy mine I don't need them.
Here's the prolem I have with this whole thread and some others like it.
We got this newbie, newshus who titles his thread "Koni Yellows not good....". Ok fine. What's wrong with Koni Yellows, in general? I think they are as good a product as there is on the market.
Then the guy goes on to describe what happenend, and it is the concensus of the other members that this looks like an installation problem, not a product problem.
Now more than a month has gone by, and we haven't heard anything more from "newshus". No thanks, no problem solved, no reasons found for his problem.
So I suggest to all that:
New threads should not have deceptive titles.
That thread orignators take the responsility to come back and tell us how their problem was resolved.
That possibly noobs not be allowed to start threads until they get their mandatory number of posts on existing threads to become "member".
What I'm seeing here is a possible hit and run, and somewhat deceptive practice.
Maybe this is not the case, but it looks that way so far on this and a few other noob threads I've seen lately.

I am bringing this thread back to life because I just picked up some koni struts. They were used but only for a few months. Now, I understand why the guys car is crashing to the ground.
I have never seen such an inferior and cheap design on the rear strut. I am baffled as to how that little ring, that isn't even welded to the darn strut, holds up all that weight. I am literally scared to put the darn things on my car.
Lastly, $550 bucks for those things..ROFLMAO...save your money and wait for tokico...I just don't think I am going to install the things...my daughter rides in the backseat. I'd bet a million bucks that that the lower perch giving away is a lot more common than seems.
