All I can tell you is that I would stick with ONLY springs. No coilovers. I say that after my experience with Ground Control Coilovers. Goodluck with whatever you choose.

If you know how low you want your car dropped, get springs... go to Supension and read the suspension FAQ.

If you don't know how low you want your car dropped, get coilovers. Ground Control/Skunk2 are the best cheapest coilovers. However, the ride with springs might be better if you're on stock struts. If you have a 2k2, I'd say get the coilovers if you don't know how low you want to go as their struts are stronger in the rear equaling a better ride.

Yeah, I agree with ak. Gold Lines are awesome, not to mention an awesome company. If you have a coupe, either wait until the end of november or get sedan springs. At the end of november, they will have a new design out for the coupe springs cuz people were complaining about the sag in the rear. You can get these for about 130 from tornactive and camber kits for under 200 all shipped. Eventually you will want to replace the oem struts with some good aftermarket ones, but you can drive for 6 months to a year in the meantime. By the way, this is exactly what I did and I love my drop, check out my ride.

He means spring coilovers. True coilovers will give you the best performance, but they cost way more than just a spring lowering.

I want to drop it much as possible with 18s. My buddy got a cup kit on his focas. he said it ran him about 600. that seems a bit high I like the way it rides but I don't like the price. What do you think would be a good drop for 18s. also can I mix any sping and stut.... thanks guys
