Skunk 2 strut & tie bar
Skunk 2 strut & tie bar
Does anyone have the skunk 2 upper strut bar or tie bar on their car? I wanna know how good they are and if the strut bar had clearance or room for your intake. Thanks

i havnt even seen their bars.. why not go with neuspeed? they look like a nice solid design and are pretty cheap. well they havnt come out with a tie bar yet but their strut bars go for $100. oh and your from ventura? what city? not too many people from that area here... might want to check out the socal forum. i work in encino which isnt too far from ventura county.
im from simi valley, i'm lookin at the neuspeed to be one of my strut bars too but I wanna keep the strut bar and tie bar the same. By the way what other suspension bars besides these and the sway bars can we get for our car?

neuspeed is supposed to come out with a rear tie bar...
do you have pictures of the skunk2 bars? cause you might be better going with DC. they're kinda expensive tho.
other bars would be...
sway bar(i think makes the biggest difference. you can find a used 19mm rsx one for about $50)
rear strut bar
theres a few other more but those are the main ones

Is the tie bar the one that installs in the trunk? Wait thats the rear strut bar... Right? And the tie bar goes on the bottom or sumthing... yeah! So the neupseed front strutbar leaves room for a AEM cai and they make a rear strut bar?

not for nothing but get the skunk2 suspension parts...they are a company that has very solid reputation for aftermarket parts for honda's.....neuspeed is VW aftermarket parts company....it's like putting a MUGEN sticker on your VW beetle (that was in import tuner once). go with the skunk2, very high price...very high quality...i am getting their coilovers, strut bar, and rear lower tie bar,and cat back exhaust system

i just saw a pictures of the skunk2 bars, i think i'll stick with neuspeed. think about it, whats the point of bars? to make the chassis as stiff as possible right? i would think a full metal bar is more solid then a bar with pivot points. DC had a similar design to the skunk2s but the released a new design, why... probably because there was something wrong with it.
and yes i know neuspeed is known for vws and such but they steal deal with suspension. suspension isnt that much different, i'm sure they still go under the same R&D.

I just saw on nopionline that they sell a neuspeed front and rear upper strut bar for our car. They didn't have anything on the tie bar though. Here's the link if you wanna check it out. CLICK ME NOW!!!
