Perfect drop front and rear??
I just recently put on Goldline springs on my car. Well I didn't, but my performance shop did. I asked them to put different drops on front and back to that the fender gap would be eliminated in teh front and the rear. As you all know our wheel wells in the front are higher than the back so a bigger drop is needed in front to match what is in back. But for now teh springs are settling and it seems that the back is furthur down than the front, but I don't know if it's because the back may settle faster than the front for some reason? I have had the springs in for about 2 weeks. Can anyone tell me if the front does in fact settle slower than back? I heard that it does because of something like the struts are stiffer in the front or some crap like that. I just don't wanna go spouting off at my performance shop for this if I have yet to see the real results. Thanks for any responses.

and i'm sorry to say but thats how goldlines designed their springs. alot of people have been complaining so they will release a new re-designed set of springs that will correct this drop and give you the drop your looking for. well it wont give you no gap but the gap will be even. but ya your still in luck, you can call up goldline and they will send you a free set of rear sedan springs to correct the drop. the front isnt going to go any lower. expect to have a similar gap you have in the front now with the rear sedan springs.

Oh, well saying that I asked them to put different drops in the front and back, I mean that I had them put springs that would lower the car more in the front as opposed to the same drop rate in the front and back. Right now it looks pretty even, so I don't think I have to worry....I spoke to them about it and it seems as though the drop is slower in the front...

eh, it shouldnt be, the front should "settle" first because there is much more weight in the front to compress things while there isnt much weight in the back. and according to goldline their springs dont settle, they settle inside the bushings and this should only take a few days, maybe 4 the most but not 2 weeks. but then if its fine now i guess thats all that matters...
