Lowest Lowering Springs
Ok, what springs could I get that would drop my car the lowest without me going to coilovers.
So far the lowest I have found is Neuspeed that drop 2.25 front and 2 rear.
Thanks for any help

that is as low as you want to go...even with 17's i have no fender gap at all with goldline's 2.25" drop all around. get adjustable's if your worried about it..or go air bags
note: i have a 6th gen, but similar.

Suspension FAQ
matrix springs 2.75/2.5" to my knowledge, only one person here had them.. forgot who it was tho. keep in mind its highly recommended you get shocks and a camber kit. i would probably have to say its a must. but ya depending on the tires, neuspeed race should give you no gap. the matrix should tuck your tires a little. for that reason getting a rear camber thats within spec probably isnt possible. unless if you roll your fenders, have a different offset rims then stock, etc...
tires make a big difference... i've seen someone with neuspeed race with a 1 1/2 finger gap all around with 205-40-17 tires... i have neuspeed sports with 215-40-18 tires and have a 1 finger gap all around... i just hate my sports tho, and i think i should have gotten smaller tires..

Thanks for the help. Ya'll are the best
I plan on getting Koni Yellows when I do the drop and a camber kit. In the future I am getting Velox VX-K 17x7.5 rims. Will those fit with the matrix springs? Or should I just go with Neuspeed?
Is Matrix a good spring making company? I hear a lot of Goldlines. Is there anything special about them?
Thanks so much.

i dunno i personally would never get matrix springs. but then i think aswzero was saying goldline and matrix were all from the company golden apple or something. i dunno i personally would go with neuspeed race. as for would they fit.. it depends on the tires. and you could basically make anything fit. would you have to mod anything is another thing. goldlines, neuspeed, h&r and eibach are all good springs. but only people that makes springs lower then 1.75" is neuspeed. and thats who i prefer anyways. goldlines would be next on my list but ya they dont drop as low as you would want.
why wont you go with coilovers tho? only reason why i dont recommend sleeved coilovers is because most people dont get shocks with them but you are so the ride shouldnt be too bad. and its not like springs where if your not happy, tough luck... you get to adjust them to your liking.

The general rule of thumb is that when you get lowering springs always get new shocks.
