JUST GOT MY TEIN INSTALLED YESTERDAY.....
as the title states i just got the TEIN SS coils installed yesterday..i must admit the ride quality is great..i can actually look anywhere i want while i am driving and not really have to worry about the bumps on the road....the ride quality is great and i have the setting slightly stiffer in the the front than the rear...but the dampening options are slightly higher than the specs they give you.....which is good though....the only problem i have is that i am still getting that damn creaking noise..when i hit 1st and second gear....when accelerating...is this normal?
i had to replace the bearings...right below the strut mount..because i was missing them from my last set up..but other than that..it was an excellent investment....i spent $1900 canadian ..so thats like $50 american..hahaha.....but best money i have spent so far on my car..would recommend..but keep in mind..as other threads have stated....the drop is not killer....you can't slam this bad boy ...if you wanna slam your ride hard..then get the FLEX version....as its supposedly able to drop an inch lower.......

Since you actually have these coilovers, how much of a drop do you think is actually possible?
I've currently got Neuspeed Sport springs with 18 wheels (tires: 215/40/18). I'd like to go a little lower than the 1.75/1.5 but not all the way to the Race Spring drop (2.25/2.00).
Let me know,
Terry

true true..dimsum..hahah...yeah man...its was well worth the money..i had the adjustment set at 15 clicks in the front....and 16 in the back cause of my subs...but damn..the ride is nice..if i wanted a more comfortable ride i could adjust the stiffness more to the soft side..but...i prefer to have them stiffer.....so to anyone even thinking about getting these things...get them ..don't even think twice....its a lot of money..but its worth it IMO....and if you want an even lower drop get the TEIN FLEX..which i heard is out as well......
well my next project now is putting my kit back on ..!! i had them on like 4 months ago .. but it just looked too tacky cuz it wasn't painted at all ..!! so next paycheck goes to the installation for my tsunami ..!! hey stillmatik .. how much did u pay for the bearings ? each ? and did u install the tein by yourself .. or did u go to the shop ?

well i guess i got dupped out of $20 extra bux .. cuz the dealer said that it was $25 each .... !! and i'm getting this creaking noise in the rear ...!! i need to bring it back tomorrow .. i want to get it fixed as soon as possible !! thats the beauty of going to a shop cuz, if something goes wrong .. u can just bring it back there and get it fixed ...!
i got em installed at carboy ...!! and i had some goldlines/stock shocks before ..!! ......they did a real good job .. but i think the creaking noise is my fault ..!! i guess i did not tighten the camber kit well enough !! but i'm still going there just to make sure !!

Dimsum i would love to check this setup inperson can we meet up somewhere soon i am gonna buy them but was tried of saving up for them so i debated on a spring and shock setup thinking it didnt matter that much but in the back of my mind i know its worth the wait...so can i check it out in person sometime
does anyone know that they can order different spring rates for the SS and Flex? To bad they do not sell the Flex mounts separately, it would fix your squeaking problems.
If everyone wants a drop, the JIC-Magic RSX(Honda Tuning) is dropped 2.0" and from the pics you can lower the car even more. Check it out. Too bad the FLT-A2 are the same price as the Flex.
