INSTALLING KONIS NEED HELP!!!! HURRY

INSTALLING KONIS NEED HELP!!!! HURRY

I am in the middle of installing Goldlines and Koni Yellow shocks. In the instructions for the konis it says to cut the front strut out. So I did but when we cut it to the measured length the koni goes in but hits a flange and does not go in far enough for the end to be avail for the bolt at the other end. WHAT DO I DO. Do i cut it more? Did I get the wrong shock? bartkat should know.. but ya i think the koni instructions were off. said to cut a little when you had to cut alot...

Yeah... I said F it and cut em up.

To get them to fit I had to cut almost 2in total. Well they fit and rides NIIICE with koni and goldines.

All in all it took 10 hrs.

The koni's have to be pressed, or hammered, in to the stock housing. They have those little bumps on them that are designed 'squeeze' into the stock housing. It was scary getting them in, but they are designed like that to keep them aligned correctly in the housing.
