how low to go???
I have 215/45/17's on a 01 civic ex. I am installing my coilovers, and utalizing the stock struts. What is the lowest drop I can go WITHOUT having to put on a camber kit or new struts??? It is my understanding that if you drop too much you need a camber kit and could blow your stock struts. I may replace the struts and install a camber kit down the road, but for right now no more $$$$, so I just want to go as low as I can without stressing the struts past what they would be stock, nor ruin my tires due to negative camber.
thanks for the advice!!

here's my advice: go as low as you wanna go.
as for camber: camber will always be messed up if you lower a car. the lower you go, the more negative or worse a camber gets.
stock strut/shocks: as long as you don't drive like an idiot (i.e jumping speedbumps/potholes, or taking sharp turnsat 30-40mph, you wont need to get aftermarket ones. but there a good buy down the road.
here my drop: tanabe springs 2" drop. camber is obvious, worse in the rear wheels. i have had these for 1 year and my stock struts/shocks are fine. my tires aren't wearing down unevenly YET. but the tires in the back should wear down unevely faster in the back b/c of the negative camber.
but i fix my rear camber in $3. so my problems are fix.
