skunk2 coilovers
i have a noob question for suspension...... i have a stock suspension right now...... if i wanted to lower..... could i just buy a skunk2 coilover kit....... y is the skunk2 coilover kit sooo much cheaper than a tein kit???..... don't they both do the same thing????..... price diff is huge.

i guess you havnt read the suspension faq yet..
skunk2s are sleeved coilovers
teins are true coilovers
difference is true coilover come as coilover/shock as one, designed to work together
sleeved coilovers, all you get is the coilover and no shock.
imagine skunk2+koni = 850. but they arent designed to work together.

Hey, bro, ima get Skunk2 coil overs in Christmas. My homie has it on his rsx and it rides nice. All you gotta do i drive slowly and dont be a dumass, always assume the worst if you in uncharted territory then you wont run with blown shocks.
It was hard for me to choose between eibach pro-kit or the skunk2s
after long hard thinking, Im going with the skunk2s
