Strut Tie Bar install question
When installing a front tie bar, are the nuts torqued on? So when I put it on and retighten them, do I have to use a torque-wrench? I just got the Bomz model from eBay and want to know what I'm getting into or if I should get a shop to do it.

33 ft-lbs according to my Neuspeed strut bar instructions.
DIY, man! At the least, it's 6 nuts to undo and redo.
If you wanna know the more complex **** retentive way (my favorite
) I can tell ya that DIY too.
edit:
The Bomz model will need all 6 nuts removed to install it, not the 4 nuts like the Neuspeed.

Thanks guys. Some co-workers and I got it installed at work today. I'll take some pics in a few minutes to show it off. The only weird thing that happened was that one of the reservoirs had to be relocated lower because it was in the way. From the looks of it, it won't cause any problems.
Pics coming soon! Stay tuned!

Pics!
This is a very stout, strong bar. The center bar is 1 piece and solid steel. The strut mounting plates seem to be well-made and properly welded. Overall, I was impressed with the craftsmanship of it.
I got it on eBay from *directcarparts* for $20.59 plus $12 shipping.

those Bombz racing ones are the same as the generic ones.. they just came up with a brand name for the generic products though.. so...
the bracket is the same, the design is the same.. they just painted the bracket silver too I guess..
as long as you're happy though. 30 something bucks is a not much of a rip off.
