DropZone Coils and Koni Yellows?
I currently have dropzone coilovers, and I hate the ride... too bouncy and I've blown a shock... I want to get a set of Koni Yellows... do you think it'll be worth the investment?
I want to get a ride as close to stock with a drop...
My second question is if neuspeed sport springs are good with koni yellows...
please post info asap because I am waiting on making decisions...
thanks in advance

all the reviews of dropzone coilovers were badd, their springs however are decent. but ya good luck trying to ride like stock with those even with konis. you have a badd ride cause 1 its coilovers and 2 its dropzone. if you go with a neuspeed/koni setup, your car is going to ride the closest to stock when lowering your car. cause springs usually give a better ride then coilovers and the ride on neuspeed springs on stock shock isnt even that badd. but ya you wont be able to adjust it, thats the downfall to it. but ya if you dont care too much about height adjustment and do want to go with springs, how low of a drop do you usually drive your car with? cause if your riding with a 2.5" drop right now, sports arent going to cut it.

I was looking at the neuspeed sport 1.75-1.50 drop... is it worth it? cause I can get race 2.25-2.0 for the same price... also what will the difference be in the ride
It totally depends on the person. If your looking for the slammed look that VNlilMAN seems to prefer than yeah, go race springs or coilovers. I personally have neuspeed sports and think its slightly too low for daily driving. I wouldn't want them to be any lower. Most ppl arn't looking for the slammed look and would prefer the stance similar to a BMW with sport suspension. Prokit offers that, and you can definately tell that a prokit looks better than stock.

damn 130 for h&rs is good... but i wouldnt get it... damn i didn't want to say this for the 100th time but...
you mainly want to worry about the drop. dont worry about whether you should get h&r, neuspeed, eibach, etc... first decide on the drop you want. its not like coilovers where you choose a good company and your set since you could adjust the height.. but ya you had coilovers.. how low did you like your car when driving around? if you like the wheels tucked/slammed look, go with something over 2". if your looking to kill fender gap go with 1.75". if your looking for performance and to kill the fender gap a lil get a 1.3" drop. you had coilovers so the decision should be easier since you know what you like.
and as for "BMW with sport suspension"... the prokit have the old beamer look... now-a-days the beamers have very lil fender gap and look pretty low so i would say sportlines gives you that look...

Ok talking about bouncy. About drop zone they are not bad coilovers # 1 #2 we have the worst suspension in the world. Factory my car bounce when i got it out of the dealer. So then what we did was try out springs from 3 companys one of them was dropzone it road like factory still bounce. Then i went with sprint road like factory still bounce, and the last one was intrax road like factory still bounce. And then when dropzone came out with there coilovers i put them on and it bounce every where why because we have factory shocks, but if you change them the car will ride alot better trust me on that. So what i did is just leave the springs on and bounce.

ya 01's bounce alot. i now have an 02 and is much better... and maybe you should try other springs cause my neuspeeds arent that bouncy. lowering springs arent supposed to be bouncy, they're supposed to be stiff. maybe you blew your stock shocks
