PPL with Neuspeed Sports, I have a question
For those with Neuspeed sports and if they already settled, because the back is a .25 higher drop than the front do you see a considerable difference. I am debating Eibach and Neuspeed sportlines/sports. I kno the sports lines you can barely tell but since the Neuspeed is made so the rear is up a bit do you guys care much? Anyone have pics?
Thanks a lot

the fender gap is actually even.. 1 1/2 finger gap all around with stock lx tires...
when i had the sedan springs on my coupe the front was still 1 1/2 finger gap and the rear was like 3 finger gap tho.

hey vnil, my sports have been on for about 3 months now... but the front right is still rubbing, i guess its due to the dead coils laying on top of eachother, so when i turn at slow speeds it still rubs and clicks... n e solution?

mine has been on the car for 2 weeks, it's 1 1/2 finger front and 2 in the back, looking at both, you can't tell any difference, and these are coupe springs, for the coupe

eh, theres going to be slight differences in the drop due to size of tires, model of car(i dont think this effects it much tho), installation, shocks, etc... i dont even think i have the neuspeed factory coupe springs(i had sedan ones and neuspeed said they swapped it but i'm thinking they just cut them)
as for SVongkasem, you rub with sports? what size tires? you shouldnt cause there is so much fender gap. as for clicking, what kind of clicking. when do you get it? first month i had my springs i got a "pinging" when i got in the car, this is due to the springs settling. but now i still get like a popping when i turn my steering wheel. from my understanding this is due to the top perch not being put on right(its not harming my car so oh well). i also get a clanking(like somethings loose) when i go over small bumps. this is due to not putting a rubber tubing on the bottom perch(my car didn't come with it). but ya explain your problem in more detail and maybe i could help you out.

did you look at the new spring's code? on the new "coupe" springs they sent me, it has the coupe code on it xx62 or something like that and the sedan ends with xx61

ya, i havnt checked that yet... i cant really see it so i think i have to get under the car and i'm too lazy for that.. i felt the end of the spring tho and it felt rough, thats why i think they cut it... i dont really care tho, it looks much better then having the sedan springs.... if i have time and i'm not lazy i'll check.

oh, sorry man.... I was meaning that my springs were rubbing on top of eachother due to the dead coils maybe? But you explained to me that the top perch wasnt installed right... My tires are nothing close to rubbing, haha.... Well I guess I'll wait for my shocks to go out, which have been surprisingly really good to me, after what its gone through, then get some new shocks and maybe go lower with some Race... But I may not, b/c I'm moving to California and they're really strict on LOW cars... Dang, when do Tokico's come out!!!
Well thanx Vnil... you said no harm, so now I can sleep better at night b/c of you...

SVongkasem, for more info go here... springs knocking? and read Silver2002's post.. he talks about the top perch, one side is thinner then the other. but ya i'm sure its not harming your car so...
and as for cali having strict lowering laws? who told you that? i see plenty of slammed cars here.. i would say go for it. i know if my shocks blow i'll probably be slamming my car cause these sports are way too high
