I don't know if anyone has goldlines with 18's, but i have them with 17s and it looks like you could go with a 18 and not have a problem

it actually depends on the tire size not only the rim size. 225-40-18 is kinda thick/wide and it might rub... i have 215-40-18 on neuspeed sports(very similar drop to goldlines) and i have no problems... my car looks stock height with only a 1 finger gap...
from what i've heard you should be fine even with 225-40-18.. might want to check the tire/wheel forum as well tho. or if you do rub you could always do what toretto do, gut out the fender wells.

i measured a 1.75 gap in front and 2 in rear from the top of the fender, the back will fit fine with 4 inches it tucks, the front is what i worry about when i turn, and i also want the back to sit level or higher than the front and all the sportlines seem to sit low in the back

VNlilman,
I have just installed the same combination of wheels/tires/springs (18" wheels, 215/40/18 tires, Neuspeed sport) but I have found that when I look at the car from the side, the rear appears to be sitting lower than the front. Did this happen with your car? Did it take a few weeks to settle?
It doesn't seem like my rear should be lower than the back because the springs are designed to lower the front more than the back and I have nothing in my trunk.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Terry

it only took a couple days to settle.. you should have like a 1" gap all around with those tires. how much fender gap do you have? you dont have a sedan do you? if its not due to wrong installation i'm sure neuspeed will replace the rear springs for you but then your going to have to reinstall them so...
