Front & Rear Strut Bar Installation....??

Not under DIY, not under FAQ. Searched, but couldn't really find what i was looking for. Perhaps one of you folks have a useful link for a rear strut bar installation.

Thanks guys,

as far as i know, just remove the 2 (or 3) nuts from the top of the strut (inside trunk, directly above strut)place bar on and retighten screws. You don't (and shouldn't) have to jack up the car to do this. Like 30min. max

ya its kinda hard to reach, i had to buy a longer socket cause mine wasnt long enough... i think i also used the extension that twists so that i could reach the nut closest to the front of the car

i've been wondering, everyone always says that those adjustable upper strut/lower tie bars are not worth it and they dont stiffen the body much, but is that true? i've recently purchased an upper rear strut and lower rear tie bar from eBay and they are those adjustable kind, and im hoping that they will at least do something, and not be worthless??

For those who wonder if strut bars are worth buying? Well ask yourself if its for show or handling. If its for show, who cares if it improves your cars handling characteristics, your buying it for looks. If you want to handle better and are wondering if they are worth buying, think of your car as three seperate sections. section 1 is the front clip (everything under the hood), section 2 is the cabin, and section 3 is the trunk area. Strut tower bars effect sections 1 and 3. Think of these areas as a box with an open lid. If you place stress on any of the sides of the box, it will flex. Now place a bar accross the top of the box. It will still continue to flex, but not to the degree it did without the box. Point being they do help, to what degree depends on the quality and engineering of the individual bar used.

my 2 cents!
