Lowering Solution for Koni's, springs, coilovers, and any thing else

Save your money and get Air ride ( Cylinders ) you can roll in the winter, drop it to your needs, and it only costs $ 2500-3500. i mean if you think about it most of you have spend $3000 on your car in the first year you had it. Air ride gives a stiff ride but better than and shock, strut & spring setup.

i think its more like 1500-2500 for our cars since its so light and not as much modification is needed on our cars compared to trucks. but ya i still dont see your reasoning as to why its better. i wanted to lower my car and decided on springs. total cost, 210... this is nothing compared to 2000. and yes most might spend 3000 on the first year but then we wouldnt have the things we got with the 3000 if we did go with air suspension. cause i know instead of getting air ride i could get rims and a system and those are two things i rather have more.

yeah dingbat......I lowered my car with camber kit and a rear set of koni's for around 500 bucks. Even if you were to get the B&G set up with the full coilovers you would only spend a 1000 bucks. I am not conviced nor will I ever be because for 2500 I will invest in a turbo

I don't like the fact that you have to cut the sheet metal on the front struts to accomodate the air line. You could never go back to stock after that!

At least with konis, your cutting the strut, not the mount on the car itself!

True, true. After I had mine done, I was so glad that I didn't have to ride stock anymore. Butcher 'em stock struts, Koni's are 500% better!!

why would you have to cut the sheet metal? theres already a hole at the top where the struts go in. you could feed the air lines through there....

It's the design of the air struts though, it's a complete unit with the hose attached. The new generation of air struts won't have that problem.

The hose goes along side the strut body but the strut mounts flush to the car. So, you need to cut the top to allow the hose to come in.
