HR or Eibach??

Hey I was wondering if I should get HR Springs or Eibach? Which one is better and how much should I pay? Also is 1.3 inch drop low enough to look good? Thanks Guys!

should post this in the suspension forum next time. and use the search button...
my opinion... 1.3 isn't low enough. even eibach sportlines(~1.5) aren't low enough. i currently have neuspeed sports(1.7f 1.5b) on stock rims and no kit, it looks fine in pictures but in person you could barely tell its dropped. the ride quality is pretty good, almost like stock. i'm on stock shocks right now and it should still last awhile... camber kit i'm going to get it when i get my rims. i dont scrape at all... i would recommend these if you plan on getting a kit. if your not then get neuspeed race(2.25f 2.0b). i wish i had...

but ya read through my FAQs in the suspension forum and also read the diy if you want to install them yourself...

If you want a more conservative drop i'd go with Eibach Sportlines aprox 1.5" drop-the authority in springs, and if you want to go lower go with H&R- a good choice as well

they're pretty much from the same family, H&R and Eibach that is, but i'd still go with the Eibach sportlines, but no prokits

H&R is not lower then Eibach sportlines. their race would have been but they discontinued those. however, neuspeed sports are slightly lower then eibach sportlines

the cup is different from the coilover kit. they both have shocks included, only difference is, the cup kit can't be adjusted while the coilover kit can...

H&R and Eibach are not the same family H&R and Neuspeed is.

you should take into consideration how the roads are where you live. the ~1.3 drop on my prokits don't seem like much, but any lower and i'd have all sorts of problems on the shiznit roads over here in houston

go with the sportlines, after settling, looks very nice and the ride is very good...spend the money or you'll be sorry

Dragoon said it the best. Lower your ride based upon what type of roads your on, speed bumps, weather...ect ect.

You dont want to "slam" your civic in an area that gets a lot of heavy snowfall.

thats not a very good reason. you could have stock springs with 19s and wont rub at all. does this mean stock is the way too go?

I pick H&R because they are both well named companies in springs, both make good quality springs. But this is where H&R breaks through. H&R is cheaper by $30-50. H&R also lowers more. The drop is not going to be much of a difference its just .2-.3" difference. So you got to go with H&R

H&R ARE NOT LOWER THEN EIBACHS!!!. THE H&R RACE WOULD HAVE BEEN BUT THEY WERE DISCONTINUED.
