I think this is caused by the coils being right up against the stops on the spring perches...not 100% sure tho.

they might need to settle still if you just installed them. mine made a ot of noise for a bit but now theyre quiet. just get an intake, exhaust, and bumpin system though if it doesnt go away...thatll drown it out

If you've just installed them, give it no more than a few weeks to settle in. I have GC and I was getting the same sound, it went away after a couple of weeks though.

hey dude....my springs make a noise when i turn to the left....alot of members on this site have complained on this issue....some say it could be the cv joint or others things.....the reason mine clicks is because the rubber peice that goes between the top of the spring and the top hat, is gone...it got torn up after it was installed.....yeah the noise is annoying but it's not hurting anything......good luck

A lot of 2k1-2k2 members have been complaining about a weird noise when they turn with their new springs/and or coilovers...I think it is something that the installers are doing wrong. The only thing i can think of is that they didnt tighten the shocks all the way, leaving a gap, this lets the car bounce a little bit more than it really should and this would definitely cause squeaking. I would take it in to Honda and have them tighten them..or compress the springs and re=do it...Just my $.02

Cheers,

okay kids, i found a great solution to your clicking coilover problem. raise you car, do not remove but seperate the coilover, use oil (like WD-40 or castrol, lol) rub it on the very top of the upper ring, the bottom of the upper ring, the washers (all of them), raise the spring, and oil the top of the adjustable ring. that stops friction when turning because your coilovers turn with your car due to pressure.
remember to rub the oil, not pour. THIS MESSAGE WILL SELF DESTRUCT IN 5 SECONDS, COPY FAST.

yeha do what toretto said but my skunk2 never made noises before. maybe it is because the springs are still settling but they will wear in.

i got skunk2 coilovers. heres the deal. Mine made a that noise like a clicking mainly malking right turns. i have had them for maybe 3 months installed. it went away after 2 weeks, i was told to wait until they settled. the noise just came back a few weeks ago. I had to re install the front 2 coilovers something was done wrong, dont know what though but thats what the guy at the shop said. now the rides even better than it was,,,
at one point it was even making a jingling noise and i thought my car was going to break... you just have to trust the person whos putting them in to do them right!! or trust your self
