Coilover problem

So i as buy stuff for my 03 ep3 im noticing its hard to find parts lol i cant find a double din dash kit and im having a problem finding decent priced coilevers. I dont see spending 1000 on coilovers as smart considering the car isnt worth that mucb. So my question is what does everyone think about raceland coilovers max speeding rods coilovers. And a lot of times when i see coilovers itll say for em2 and si then switch the color and it says only em2 does anyone know if theyre compatible? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Coilover problem

They’re both cheap and the ride quality sucks. Tein is a good middle ground coil in terms of price and quality

Re: Coilover problem

if you consider how important suspension is for safety, considering the possibility that they do fail...
it could mean you have the car or not later on. So price is important.

Re: Coilover problem

RaceLand coil overs are really stiff but good for lowered rides on a budget, I ran them for a year with no issues. Tein Flex Z Advanced are good for lowering 1-1.5 but are a bit soft in my opinion and decent for daily, not good for super low. A set of something like the BC coilovers are right on the money.

There are some anecdotal pictures around the internet about the raceland failures, so... Matter of luck...

I would be less worried if his was and earlier model (6th gen and below, they have double wishbone, so majority of the loads are taken by the control arms, but 7th gen and above all use McPherson type struts, so the load will apply directly to the struts and results can be harsher)
