I recently picked up an ultra racing strut bar. I came across a small problem installing it. The bar sits milimeters above the clutch fluid resevor. Is it possible to throw washers under the strut bar to give clearance? Or I have to diy another bracket for it?

better find a way to move the reservoir. I think i shifted it for my neuspeed (although the neuspeed is curved for that purpose)

Thanks I'm going to see if I can bend the bracket a little to give 1/4 inch clearance. So it doesn't look like its sitting on it.

I bent my clutch fluid reservoir out of the way to fit my neuspeed one in. All I did was grab the reservoir and pull it where I wanted it

I attempted that today. Only have extra centimeter clearance. I guess that's the best I can do

a cm should be plenty - seem that it is a one piece design, so giving some material flex, it is supposed to improve the flex, so plenty

mybe a pain to open it to refill, though

Yea I will have to take off my strut bar just to refill that resevoir

You could try to borrow a tap kit and make a new hole to remount the res.
