Stock suspension sag

I have an 05 Honda Civic that recently went over a nasty pothole and noticed right after that i was riding a little bit lower. I measured the ride height and my left front drivers side is a quarter inch lower than the right.
From self inspection i couldn't see anything wrong with any of the suspension components on that side so i took it to a mechanic to get it looked over and they said they didn't see or feel anything wrong with it, and that this kind of thing is normal in a car that normally just has a driver riding along on that side. I've only noticed that that left side feels a little stiffer than the right when taking corners/not as much spring play when the weight is transferred to the front left side, but nothing else that sends up any other red flags.
I am currently contemplating replacing the springs myself and was wondering if this is a good idea and whether there are any other parts i might want to replace as part of the process. Since I'm pretty sure this problem might be related to spring sag. I've read through the DIY spring replacement thread and (i think) all the suspension FAQs and info.

I was also wondering if places such as http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com sell their springs in pairs. As far as i can see they don't say whether they are sold and priced as singles or pairs. Rockauto sells springs at the same price but they come in pairs. If push come to shove and i need a concrete conformation i can just call them but was wondering if anyone here knew.

I apologize for my noobish questions and hope I'm posting in the correct board. I am fairly new to doing car repair myself so i don't have a whole lot of experience with these things and hope some people can help me get pointed in the right direction.

Re: Stock suspension sag

uuuunh, your inspection and the mechanic sounds pretty reasonable. you seem to have covered most of the bases in there.

i would recommend changing shocks ("struts") at the same time, since the work will be the same anyway. They potentially could be the cause of ride height difference as well.
potentially the lower side is actually the right height?
