Unboxing Tokico HP

Tokico HP suspension kit was delivered to my door last week. Here's some pics of what was in the box.

Re: Unboxing Tokico HP

The struts and springs went in over the weekend. Here some pics I took with my phone.

The tokico rears look much more robust than the honda OEs. Spring is larger diameter and larger gauge steel. The size means there is clearance issues when installing. I couldn't get a spring compressor on the rear during install, I had to jack up the shock to line up the lower bolt.

Re: Unboxing Tokico HP

One rear spring seems to be moving around. I pulled the shock out and re-indexed the spring to the bottom seat but it still makes noises while driving. The honda OE springs had some tape at the ends I thought this was to prevent scratches but maybe it was there to keep the spring from rotating in the bottom seat.
