Skunk2 lowering springs?

Hey guys i'm riding on H&R springs for about 8 years now and still have different gaps on all wheels. 2 fingers in front driver, 3 fingers on front passenger, 2 fingers in rear driver, and 1 finger in rear passenger. Oh i also got koni yellows, ride quality is great but i think it is time for new springs. I was thinking about Goldlines but their website is all messed up. Skunk2 have about 2.25" drop in front which i like but didn't see any thread about them. Just wanted to know if anybody have them and how was the ride?

Re: Skunk2 lowering springs?

You have different gaps between each tire because it is suppose to be like that. The car weighs different in each part of the car so the shocks are all set to different specs to even out the ride. I have had h&r springs before and I liked them, they were a good set of springs. I have heard that skunk2 springs are garbage but dont quote me on that cause I have never tried them. I have heard some good things bout neuspeed though with there 2 inch drop. Though you have to know that the lower you go the ride will get worse.

Thanks for the info 02civicsi02, yea i like H&R too never had a problem but the gap thing is driving me nuts. I installed everything myself springs and struts and they are index right. Figured after awhile they would even out but 8 yrs and still not right.

Re: Skunk2 lowering springs?

i had skunk2 spring with tokico blues for about 2 years and the ride was nice. i had 2 finger gap in the front and 1 finger gap in the rear. i just switch to raceland coilovers to make the front even with the rear. im much happier witht the coilovers just because everything is even. the rides a bit more bumpy

Re: Skunk2 lowering springs?

Did you install lowering springs or coilovers? You can adjust the ride height with coilovers.
