spring question
I just got my 2002 civic ex about a month ago, and finally was able to get it to pass inspection (needed tires and back seatbelts), when they went to do the alignment they stopped, and said I needed to raise the car up a little that the back tires were not sitting straight down like they should, so it would cause wear and tear on the tires a lot faster. Has anyone heard of that? The front sits a little lower than the back, about 4 inches off ground in front. I took one of the tires off one day to look at the springs and there just very short springs (previous owner was going to race it before getting rid of it) im not 100% sure if there coilovers but feeling that they are not, as on my saturn they looked way different. Does anyone have a good website I could see about ordering springs from Im usually not a fan of dealing with autozone and places like that. Thanks so much!

maybe check ebay? its possible the previous owner put lowering springs on it, and you might also need new shocks. i think someone here is also selling oem honda springs for your car, check the FS forums.

thanks for replys, i ended up figuring out adjusting coilovers (didnt believe they were on there until i looked myself) have been having trouble though with the fronts, i can twist and twist the gold perch but it dosnt seem to raise it barely at all (did double check right=raise left=lower lol) not sure if the threads are stripped, whole reason is to fix back tires to align the car but tempted to buy camber kit so dont have to!

Probably stripped... I've heard of people having a lot of trouble after the coilovers are a couple years old. Buy yourself a camber kit

Probably C. It can't be A, as there would be no return pulse. It can't be B because the return pulse would be equal. It is probably therefore C, as if the spring attached was lighter, then it would continue the wave and there would be nothing reflected, which cuts out D. C is likely, as the heavier spring would absorb some of the pulse, but some would be reflected, giving the negative pulse.
