Who is SLAMMED?
Re: Who is SLAMMED?
Yea most of those pics the civic was aired out. But when I drive it I can change the height to whatever I want, I just raise it up to about stock height and its fine. It rides so nice on air.

Re: Who is SLAMMED?
Front and rear camber kit are necessary to get a proper alignment. Extended top hats are a good idea to give more damper travel. Depending on how focused on performance you are, it's also not a bad idea to switch to RCA ball joints and inverted tie rod ends, but if performance isn't a huge concern just swap in new standard bjs and tie rods when you lower it since worn out stock ones will wear out very quickly under those conditions.

Re: Who is SLAMMED?
Yes and Yes, you need to be lowered a minimum of two inches to take advantage of the RCAs and three inches to take advantage of inverted tie rods though, keep that in mind.
Re: Who is SLAMMED?
Flipping the OEM's isn't going to work, otherwise I wouldn't be posting.
Re: Who is SLAMMED?
*edit* - I decided to look into this more because I'm planning on doing it myself, and from what I've read, flipping the stock ends is the cheapest and simplest option, provided you feel like modifying the strut, but you can buy inverted ends for the DC5/RSX for around $200 that also work, but they are still tapered, and don't add any real benefits to the stock ones...and they're $200...

Re: Who is SLAMMED?
Yeah man, I looked into the DC5 inverted rods and you have to modify the bolt by taking a lathe to the shoulder (between the threads and head) to fit properly in our size taper, and then drill the cotter pin hole lower.
Re: Who is SLAMMED?
Everyone I've asked (about 2 people lol) said that it can be done with the stockers...you just have to step drill the strut to fit the taper....seeing as how I don't have a couple of hundred bucks to drop, I'm going to probably go that route when I decide to go that low.

My EM1
on different rims, lemme know if you consider it slammed?
pic with si wheels is old rims and gsr fat fives are new rims, it may not be slammed cause i have to ride down dirtroads often, but it pretty low. Thats with no lip kits or anything stock body. And the set of black wheels were 17s
