Now that I found some answers on the comfortable coilover (https://www.civicforums.com/forums/4...coil-over.html) I did some research and found that the Tein Basic coilovers have a 1 year warranty compared to a ...let's say Eibach with life time warranty.

Anybody had any experience with the Eibach coilover system ?
I'm interested in comfort and then reliability for both of them.

can't go wrong with tein.

you can always have them rebuilt if they ever blow. i believe it's 75 per shock.

both are good companies in my opinion. you can't go wrong with either choice.

what car do you have? what year i should say..never knew they had a eibach coilover for the 01-05 civic or have i heard of anyone ever running them

I have a Civic 04 VP 4DR (60k miles). I'm looking for a comfortable and reliable coilover kit.

that's interesting, i haven't heard of anyone running those before. Can't go wrong with either eibach or tein imo.

yea i havnt ever seen a civic with eibach pro streets. id stick to the tein basics.

imo you would be best to save up a little bit more money and try tein ss. The adjustability helps a lot. BUT you cant go wrong with tein or eibach.

Hey whenever u do ur coilover setup, please post pics up, because I also have a 4dr so I wanna see if the coils will make it sag or not. I'm sure they won't but just incase I wud like to see it anyway. Also do report back for the comfort.

Teins are a very knowned and successful brand amongst our cars.

hey i have tein flex and i can say they are the best. They were insanely expensive but i picked them up lightly used for a really good deal. There is no problem with sagging and i have like 60+lbs of subs and boxes and crap in my trunk. Even with 3 people in the back, my car has never had its tires rub and I run about a tight 2 finger gap with 205/40/17s. The ride quality is quite good. Obviously not as good as stock, but nothing ever is. I run them on setting about 4 for street driving. They ride decent. The ride isnt intolerable and the handling on them is just amazing. I ran them at the track on about 12 and i was cornering amazingly. You dont have to worry about sag anyway because you can always just change the height. I have a coupe but heres an idea of what mysetup was like

I have an ep3 which i put tein baiscs on a while ago. I can't say anything bad about them becuase i didn't have them on for that long but this is what i noticed. They were not bouncy at all (which i liked) but if you hit a decent sized crack or bump, it thuds, HARD. The adjustability is nice also, but from what i've heard, after one salty wisconsin winter, it takes alot of muscle to break those adjusting rings loose, much less get them to thread up and down easily. So i really did like them, and wanted to keep them, but for a daily driver, having to go through harsh winters and such, it just didn't make sense for me.

IMO Tein is good but i like Tokico D-Spec
