Suspension Problem

Ok for some reason on the rear passenger side whenever i hit a pretty good dip of some sort or i have more than one person in my car and i turn left just that one side rubs against the rear panal or whatever you wanna call it..Just on the rear right..No problems in the front or anything. The rear left doesnt even do it. I thought maybe the springs were messed up so i bought a new set and it still did it so i bought new struts and it still did it..Then i bought new control arms and it still does it..Anybody have any ideas on what could be the problem..

Re: Suspension Problem

u have too many fat friends. thats your problem!

hahah...j/k

are u bottoming out on that side or just rubbing? cause if its bottoming out sounds like u need or forgot to put in bump stops.

are the struts and springs stock? if they werent i would ask about ride height and dampening setting.

tire might b inflated too much or mounted wrong, could b possibilites but if it was mounted wrong u would feel alot more than rubbing.

another question is how long has it been doin it and wat changes have u done to that side like new tires/rims(not wat u have done by replacing).

Re: Suspension Problem

you might possibly have that side a bit too low or low enough to have it rub. idk if tokicos have a dappening setting but if it does check that out.

it really just sounds like your shocks are compressing down too much

Re: Suspension Problem

If any of these conditions happens, it is probably advisable to stop the engine ASAP and try to find the cause before the system decides to go into "hard fault" mode.
