Megan Coilover height adjustment Help

Hey. i got me a set of megan coilovers and im kinda of confuse on adjusting the height...ok. the coilover has a top ring, a ring 1, and a bottom ring (ring 2). Ive read rsx forums on megan coilovers..adjusting the height while installed.... saying just loosen ring 2 (bottom ring) while the top ring and ring 1 are together. Then take your spanner wrench and turn the top ring clockwise. Is this correct? Or do I have to loosen any other rings? Also anyone have these coilovers remember their adjustments for a 1 finger gap all around?.. what were your Measurements between ring 1 and ring 2.... Im running on 205/40/17. Ive tried searching the forums but found no solid answer to my question. Thanks

Re: Megan Coilover height adjustment Help

your two top springs are for the spring preload. they should be together. the bottom most nut is for the actual height adjustment. if you can't find the preload and height adjustment specs, email Megan racing. Just look at the pic. its pretty self explanatory, the closer the bottom nut is to the middle nut the lower the drop. the further the bottom and middle, the more ride height you'll have

Re: Megan Coilover height adjustment Help

The numbers on the springs are the measurements for the spring load. The bottom ring will adjust the ride height.

Re: Megan Coilover height adjustment Help

You can't adjust ride height using the spring. For the front you need to disconect the tie rod ends and the lower strut mount losen the lowest ring and spin the gray portion around until you get the height where you want it. On the back you need to disconect the lower strut mount bolt and spin the gray part again to get the height where you want it. One warning though the front is able to lower your car much more than the back on this set.
