straight steering wheel

ever since i installed a strut bar on the front, it seems like i have to steer ever slightly to the right to make my car go straight. I got an alignment after installing the strut bar because i thought it had messed my alignment up, and the problem went away for a day. Then it came back. it's not that noticeable, but when i leave my wheel straight, the car doesn't exactly go straight. Are most wheels supposed to be straight and thus the car will go straight? or is it okay to just slightly, (ever so, less than 5 degrees or so) move the steering weheel?

Re: straight steering wheel

it might not be the strut bar....

i have been having to turn my steering wheel to the right occasionally for a little while...until more recently i started hearing a clunk sound out of my pass. side front wheel well...i threw it up on a lift at my job, and found that I had a busted lower control arm bushing...since i had it replaced, steering went back to normal...

check your bushings. the one that went out on me was in the front part of the lower control arm. IM me if you want a pic of what it looked like busted...

Re: straight steering wheel

my bushings are fine... when i got my alignment it was okay for one day then went back to slightly right. i dont remember if it was the same way before the strut bars, but i doubt it...
