shocks...

ok.. i need to know something.. when i drive and hit a large pothole/bump.. it seems as tho my shocks are bottoming out against my bumpstops.. so i took everything apart and have my shock isolated... my question is this....

should i be able to compress the shock by hand... and should it take about 2 seconds to fully come back up...

the shocks are kyb-gr2s and have been used for about 3000 miles on stock springs

Re: shocks...

yes you can compress the shock by hand and yes it should take some time to come up. Are they leaking?

Why do you feel you are hitting the bumpstops?
