Spring / Camber Kit Questions
I just installed the SPC kit on my 2005 Civic DX coupe (Canadian) and had some questions before I take it on the road.
1. I noticed that I had to press the arm down to bolt it in behind the drum brake, thus twisting the upper control arm part. Is this normal? It looked like it was meant to twist with some sort of spring apparatus inside. I can elaborate if you don't understand.
2. There's the big metal hexagonal piece that spins in the middle of the camber arm to give the wheel more or less camber. There's also two smaller spinning pieces on either side of this. What do I do with these? Just tighten them up to the big piece so it doesn't spin on its own? Do I have to tighten them with lots of force or just my fingers? Wrench? I just left them spinning around wherever they are.
3. Last one is about the springs I put on, Tein S-Techs. Which side is up? I put the part with the brown plastic covering on the bottom leaving the TEIN writing right side up. This right? Does it matter?

Re: Spring / Camber Kit Questions
I have no idea about the first question
The second question is that you tighten the nuts to the big nut in the middle.
Brown is supposed to be on the bottom I believe.
2 questions
1) Are you getting an alignment?
2) Why did you get a camber kit when you are getting air ride?

Re: Spring / Camber Kit Questions
I have an appointment for an alignment on Thursday. It'd be sooner but I have a bodyshop appointment Monday.
And I was getting air ride.....I paid for it......long story. Basically I got jacked for it, it wasn't sent.
