Replace front shocks - NO drop

I want to replace my front shocks on my 02 Civic EX 2dr. The right front wheel clunks on bumps at low speeds and the steering wheel shakes on bumps at highway speeds. I do NOT want to lower my car. Is there a high performance shock/spring combination that will work or should I just go to Honda to get OEM assemblies? I look forward to some helpful comments.

Re: Replace front shocks - NO drop

it might be your sway bar bushings thats causing the clunking sound

Just buy some Tokico Blues and mount them with the stock springs. This will not drop your car but will improve the handling. THe shocks also have a lifetime guarantee.........

thats exactly what i have right now and it rides really well. they actually might have lifted the car a little bit (less than an inch) KYBs will also run in the same price range, even for adjustables

Tom:
I've got the exact same problem. I've had a clunk from the front right and my steering wheel shakes on bumps. It's gotten worse over time and I found that the strut was leaking. I'm looking for stock replacements, however, it seems they are way too damn expensive from the dealer, so I may go with the Tokico Blues for the improved handling, stock ride height, and lifetime warranty.
