Help What Happened!!
Help What Happened!!
So I lowered the front of my car last week and it looked like this:

The rear was still a little too high for my taste so I did the rear today. HOLY CRAP it's soo low though. is it supposed to be this way!?!?1
Springs are Eibach Sportline and the shocks are factory and everything rides perfect... Still stock ride almost, but I don't know why the rear is so damn low, it's ugly. =( Any hints, fixes or anything? PLEASE HELP!!!!

The rear wheel well is shorter than the front. So it gives the illusion of being lower, but thats too low, the door sill definitely isnt parallel to the ground. What year is it? Honda did some fooling around with that spring perch, if you got one of the cars with longer rear springs, then its gonna sit too low on drop springs. Get a set of koni yellows, then put the spring perch in the higher groove in the rear shocks.

its really hard to see cuz of the shadow you dont really know how low it really is but it looks kinda wierd. i think it'd look hot on a coupe with that drop. What size rims are those?
Re: Help What Happened!!
yes, these springs are from a coupe, are they not supposed to work? I'm getting Koni Yellows wrapped in GC coilovers... I think that'll fix it but it's from an 03 coupe... will it work? thanks for all the help!!!

Re: Help What Happened!!
Coupe springs sometimes sag on sedans. Some companies make sedan springs.
Re: Help What Happened!!
make sure you get the right sized konis...there are two different sizes. But GCs with konis should solve your problem. Are you getting prefit ones, meaning that the shock is already inserted into the strut (ie a used set)?

Re: Help What Happened!!
looks nice dude! so you are running the gc koni set up in the back? i have the koni in the back with ebay coilovers and my car flies everywhere. how many threads are left in the back?
Re: Help What Happened!!
Yes... GC koni in the rear. and just GCs in the front with the factory struts. The front is lowered about 3/4 the way down but the rear isn't lowered at all, actually. It's on the very top coil! I think that's because these were also made for the coupe. But i'm not worried, I think it's perfect like that.
