Question Found some aftermarket Tie Rod Boots. Will they work?

What's up guys. During installation of my new struts my tie rod boots were damaged and need to be replaced. I do not want to replace the whole outer tie rod end so I just want to replace the tie rod end boot if possible. I found these online and was wondering if somebody with the knowledge could tell me which ones to get. I plan on switching them out myself because I know how to get it off now, but if I had to replace the outer tie rod end I couldn't do that on my own. So I will try the boots. Thanks.

i havent seen that product you posted in the picture, but i imagine if you're only going to replace the boot of the tierod, OEM or aftermarket wouldnt matter. i actually replaced my boot a couple years ago when i ripped mine. i got mine from the dealer, only cost $2.

i'm not sure if theres "procedures" for replacing the boot of the tierod, but it was a bitch to remove and put on. the boot's base is a very flat and stiff 'O' ring. the ring sorta goes over some grooves of the tierod itself and snaps into place so its stays in place. i had a very hard time removing the old boot and trying to snap on the new one, but its still on my car with no problems.

good luck with the install.

The poly boots would be a waste of money as they dont seal worth a crap. And being that the tie rod isnt greaseable you can force out moisture with new grease.
