SS Teins Blown Shock!

I recently noticed that my front driver side shock was botteming out! #@$%
I jacked my car up and discoverd Oil all over the exterior of the shock.
Has anybody experienced this with tein ss shocks? If so what did you do? did you have to buy another complete suspension or could you just buy one coil over?

I bought the S.S. tein on ebay about a year and a half ago. I dont think tein will warrenty. Anybody have suggestions ?

Yup, you're gonna have to contact Tein themselves and ask them what you can do about it. You can also search in your area to see if there are any rebuilders that are willing to touch that type of strut.

Or you could buy something like Koni's, which cost more up front, but if they go bad, they get replaced by Koni.

I'm still on stock shocks, when they go i'm going with Tokico HP or KYB G2 with a new set of springs while i'm at it. Nothing like new springs with new shocks, worth the $150 while you at it.
