Okay ..this is annoying. as soon as i dropped my car i had to take of the wheel guard .didi any of you had to if you didnt tell me how you kept them on their...cause it looks retarded
you talking about the wheel well plash guards?. i don't think you should take those off. if you do than, you either have too big of tire + too much lowered. or somethings wrong with your lowering job.

i mean i took mine's off since i added a bodykit, and the guards werent secure, so i never replaced it. bad i dea. engine bay has to be clean often and the rocks go everywhere. so i would get your lowering redone. if you got coilovers, raise them. butt i returned to stock appeal and all, sold the kit, and i need to replace mine now!

what is your tire size, 215/??/17? its the side wall thats gunna be a problem. my winter wheels are a problem now that my car is dropped, 205/65/15 so you need to check your side wall size, my car is dropped ~2" on 205/40/17 and i have no rubbing issues.

Did you get struts too or just stock. It will help with the ride plus oem ones blow very quickly.

i've got 215/45/17 series tires and with those tires, you can't lower your ride no lower than an inch and a quarter or a half. something like that. 40 is good but you're probably too low. thats what sounds like the problem. 215 is ok. the 40 is ok. sounds like you went a bit too SLAMED!

btw...if you want 17s with a lowering..205s are all you need in the width. 40s are big enough. i wnet 16s to get a bigger sidewall. i got 205/50/16 and i wouldnt go back to some 17s....what a waste! no offense!
