I am curious too, is there any benefit to using the 04/05 shocks in an 01 civic?

They are the same except the front knuckle bolt is 16mm instead of 14mm for the 01-02. So unless you get some sort of sleeve to fit in the 16mm hole to use your 14mm bolt, the answer is no.

did you mena front shocks ar 14mm 01-02 and 16mm for 03-05. or rear shocks.

rears are all the same, 01-02 fronts are 14mm and 03-05 fronts are 16mm
