Stock Springs

I need to re-install my stock springs for a while. On the springs are two marks, a green mark and a pink mark. I don't want to install them upside down or backwards. Which mark goes on top or does it matter?

Boilermaker1 is a splendid one to behold

They're indexing marks so you put the top mounts together properly. It should be very obvious once you put them together which way is right. The fronts only fit one way, the backs have a flat side and a not flat side.
