Question concerning koni yellows
Question concerning koni yellows
Hey all,
I have an 04 civic coupe and im getting a deal on pair of koni yellows for the rear. The only thing is that they are for 01-03 models...i am aware that the 04 05 models are 55mm, but does this go for the rear too? Am i looking at big modifications to get the rears to fit in my 04?
Any help is appreciated!

01-03 are 50mm and 04-05 are 55mm so if you get 01-03 on your 04 it will be unsafe and if anything happens koni wont cover it und there warranty. if you look up on there site it will show you the size and year chart

alright some good info some bad
For CRASH BOLTS - the fronts are 14mm for 01-02 and 16mm 03+
Rear konis are all the same!!
Front Konis vary - you can only tell by measuring the shock body on what size you need.

Hey diablo. thats a very tempting offer, unfortunatly im not in the us..and i already purchased the front a week ago. thanks dude,if i know someone looking for a set ill let you know...
I Also have another question concerning koni's, seeing that winter is coming soon, is there anything negative about using stock springs with koni yellows? Im guessing that the car will still sit a bit lower then stock and be slightly stiffer but is there anything bad about doing that?

the car will still sit the same as stock but it will definitely handle better. i had neuspeed sports and koni yellow in the past and the stock with koni felt the same it just sat lower with the neuspeed
