SKUNK2 adjustment help

when adjustin the skunk2 coilovers, do you need to use both the spanner wrenches at the same time in order to seperate the perches? If so, which way do you put the wrenches inward or outward? thx

i can use one easily, then use both hands to spin the coils up or down, and i always jack up the car when i do it! easier.
