Progress rear sway bar questions.
Hey everoyne, i have an 01 LX ( therefore no rear swaybar) and im looking to get the Progress rear sway + adapter kit.
Anyway install this kit on a rear swaybar less car? how hard is it to do with the adapter kit?
Also, to people with the progress front sway kit? how do u like it? I was looking to get a front upper strut bar, but if everyone raves about the progress front sway, maybe ill opt for that over the strut bar. or get both.

does anyone know if the progress adapter kit will work with any sway bar or just the progress? i'm thinking about getting the jdm type r one from jdmland.com and it's 22mm like the progress i think...
rear sway for sure. i got a 19mm on my 01 lx and the handling is seriously night and day. as for the upper strut, it doesnt do crap unless its a real quality piece, even then handling is not significantly changed. looks good when you pop the hood tho :]
wow. uh, since our cars are fwd, they have a natural tendency to understeer. to counter that we run a bigger rear swaybar. you run a bigger front sway bar if you dont like the tail trying to swing out w/ the bigger rear sway. as for whether you want to upgrade to beefier sway bars, its a matter of personal preference, because bigger sways will decrease body roll, but also causes the wheels to slide a little more as well as decreased comfort since the two suspension points are linked together better.

well...i noticed my main difference with my rear sway/tie bar. the front wasn't as noticable, but i can now kill some turns will my car as opposed to my cousin's prelude, or my friend, David's 5.0 mustang. but if you add them both, youll feell the difference and be happy with the possibilities you can overcome. i recommend so better tire, if you dont have some already..

The sway bar is a great mod. not only is there less body roll, but my car felt MUCH more solid on the highway. as someone else put it, turning corners is a lot less scary.
