Thumbs up Looking for full new suspension w/ minimal drop. Advice??

I want to get a new suspension, but don't really want to lower my car much, if at all. I want something aftermarket, not OEM. Any advice on Strut & Shock combinations to look for?? Thanks for your help.

Is this for daily driving or track use? Also what is your budget?

First off, start here then go here.

I just installed KYB AGX shocks/struts with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. About an inch drop and better handling.

And welcome to the site...

Mostly daily driving. I've had 17's on it for about a year and the ride seems to be getting worse and somewhat bouncy. I was looking at the Eibach pro kit, just didn't know what to match it up with or if there was anything with maybe less of a drop. Thanks for the advice..

I would like to stay under $600....

I found a Tokico HP Set that comes with springs for $490. I could get the Tokico HP struts with Eibach Pro Kit for $532. Is it worth the extra little bit for the Eibach springs, or will there be no difference??

That set seems like a good idea depending on what springs it comes with. I think I remember hearing that Tanabe might make a spring that drops even less than the pro-kit but I'm not sure. If I were you I would find a used pro-kit and buy the Tokico HPs.

-edit-
It's not Tanabe it's Tein

Tein-H-techs (0.8", 0.9") and Tokico HP "blues" are the way to go for a small drop. That is what I had for my first set up of suspension. I bought it off of e-bay all for $443.00 shipped. All real brands too.

Found the Pro Kit for $205 and the Tein H Techs for $155. Are the Eibach's worth it, or just go with the H Techs??

I have the Eibach Pro-kit on a coupe and I am happy with it. Its not too low where I have to worry about scaping but its low enough that you can tell its lowered. I have 17 in wheels with a 215-45-17 tire adn I have about a 1-2 finger gap.

I heard that Tein springs tend to sag both on the coupes and sedans. Eibach springs don't tend to sag and mine haven't sagged. One thing I can't stand is a car that has a sagging ***.

One last question. How much and how so is my ride going to change?? If i go with the Tokico HPs and the Pro kit, will my ride actually be more comfortable to ride in, or will it just give me better handling and more of a sporty ride??

it will be better than stock. i ahve the kyb agx's and the prokits. i ahd progress springs before and i will say that the car rides absolutely great now. the kyb's are 4 way adjustable as well. so if you are going on a long trip and want to loosen them up i can or if i want to go play i can
